By Road: The Maasai Mara Reserve is about 280 km. west of Nairobi City. The drive takes about 5-6 hours. While driving you will enjoy breathtaking views including that of the Great Rift Valley and also Mounts Suswa and Longonot. From Narok town to the reserve, the road get rough
and it is therefore recommended to use a 4×4 vehicle as this will make your ride a bit smoother.
There are a number of entry gates such as Sand River, Musiara, Talek, Sekenani or Oloololo Gate..
By air: Flying to the Masai Mara is the quickest way to get to there and have ample time to enjoy your holiday. There are daily flights to the Mara from Wilson Airport that takes around 45 minutes. The Masai Mara reserved has several Airstrips and we will book you to the nearest one to your camp. From there, guests will be transferred by road to their particular camp. You can fly in from Nairobi or Mombasa and even Serengeti in Tanzania in light aircraft.
